Walter Vosburgh is a native of Upstate New York's Hudson Valley and currently resides in Mystic, Connecticut and New York City.
Vosburgh holds degrees from Northeastern University (AB), New York University (MBA) and the New York School of Interior Design (AAS, BFA).
He has studied photography at the International Center of Photography, New York; the Maine Photographic Workshops, Rockport, Maine; and the Bruce Barnbaum Workshop, Granite Falls, Washington under such accomplished photographers as Karen Halverson Gilborn and Harvey Stein (street); Arnold Newman, Sing-Si Schwartz and Yvonne Halsman (portrait); Cole Weston (landscape and nude); Bruce Barnbaum (landscape); and George Tice (master printing).
In October 2004, Walter Vosburgh presented a solo retrospective exhibition in Hudson, New York under the auspices of the Columbia County Council on the Arts, curated by noted fine artist and interior designer, the late Frank Faulkner.
